Getting Started
===============
Thank you for choosing Alaska Screen Saver/Wallpaper 2.0! This software is intended for use on Windows 95/98/ME and Macintosh PowerPC System 7.1 or greater.  We recommend that you set your video display setting to 256 colors or higher.   Installation instructions follow:

Maccintosh Power PC Installation Instructions

Screen Saver.

This CD-Rom does not feature an auto load function for Macintosh.     To load the screen saver, locate the AkMac screen saver folder on the root director of the CD-Rom.  Open the the AkMac folder and locate the AkMac screen saver icon.  Copy the AkMac screen saver icon into the Control Panels folder in your System folder, restart your computer.  Open the AkMac control panel in the Control Panels folder in the System folder.  The AkMac Control Panel gives you the option to activate the screen saver as well as how long you want the screen saver to wait after a key was pressed or the mouse was moved.

Wallpaper

The CD-Rom includes an Image Folder which contains 30 images you can use as desktop wallpaper.  You can do this by choosing Apple menu...Control Panels...Appearance.   Hold down the Control key and click anywhere on the desktop.  Choose the Change Desktop Background menu item.  Select the image.
